RECEIVE
The receive screen is used to receive the products at the receiver's location. To receive a product, the product should be in 'shipped' state (disposition). When a Tote arrives at the user's location, the user can receive the full Tote or a partial Tote. There are two sub-flows in Receive functionality:
- Receive
- Audit
Receive:
While receiving the Totes, the user is expected to scan only the Tote, not the items within the Tote. For example, when a shipment with 5 Totes arrives at the user's location, the user scans only the 5 Totes to receive them.
Audit:
Audit functionality enforces the user to scan each and every item within the Tote while receiving it. The Audit functionality is pre-configured for some Audit condition. For now, if the number of children is over some threshold (e.g. 12), the user is forced to scan all the children. This number can be configured per customer's requirement. The user can also force (select) audit functionality for Audit flow. For example, when you scan a Tote, which is pre-configured for Audit flow, that has 'x' number of items in it, the Audit flow is automatically enforced, i.e., the user has to scan each and every item in the Tote to receive the Tote. When you scan a Tote which is not pre-configured for Audit flow, you can still select the Audit functionality and scan and receive all the items in the Tote.
